The HOOK: Brian Kelley’s Accidental Catch 🎣

“My dad got me into fishing at an early age. We had a little river house in Astor, Florida—probably about 40 minutes from home in Ormond. Dad got me immediately hooked. I was like, oh, my gosh, this is amazing,” said singer Brian Kelley.

When he caught his first largemouth bass around middle school—that’s when his mind was completely blown, and this catch was by total accident.

“We were fishing for bream, not bass. What we think happened was I caught a little bream and began reeling it in. We think the bass ate that bream and just got hooked by that hook. And it was a massive bass. I mean, it was huge! That’s a memory I’ll never forget.”

“I'm looking to make some more great fishing memories this summer with the Gulf Coast Cowboys.” MORE HERE.
