There’s a new shade joining Springfield Armory’s 1911 DS Prodigy family of handguns; a model with a Coyote Brown Cerakote finish will soon be headed to gun shops. The new Coyote Brown 1911 DS Prodigy Comp 9mm pistols are being offered in two barrel lengths, 5-inch and 4.25-inch. Both are integrally compensated, which reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise.
